Rules|
In order to provide student organizations with equal access to potential recruits, all student organizations are asked to comply with these policies.
Check In
- Organizations will be notified of their table assignments via e-mail prior to Open House.
- Organizations with a table assignment can go directly to their tables and set up beginning at 12:30pm on Sunday, January 24th.
- Organizations that register after January 15, 2010 will not receive their table assignments in advance. These organizations will have to check in at the Open House Headquarters (Intramurals Desk) to receive their table locations.
- An Open House staff member will come to each table to check groups in and review the display and staffing policies.
Table Staffing and Display Rules
- One table per organization.
- No more than three representatives per organization present at any time.
- Keep walkways clear of obstructions. Table representatives must remain behind their organization's table. If your display material does not allow you to be behind the table, you must receive approval from an Open House staff member to stand in front of or adjacent to the table.
- Display and promotional materials cannot extend beyond the length of the table.
- Open House staff members will monitor audio levels to ensure that volume levels from amplified audio do not interfere with the ability of other organizations to conduct conversations.
- Stands, backboards, pipe and drape, and other facilities for hanging promotional materials WILL NOT be provided. Plan your display accordingly.
- Only tape supplied by Open House staff can be used to hang promotional materials to facilities in the Rec Center.
Outdoor Displays
- Large display materials must be noted on your registration form and are subject to approval by Open House event staff. Approval will be based on the overall size of the display.
Promotional Materials
- No selling, buying, nor solicitation of goods or services is allowed at MSCC Open House.
Pets
